The DT Project is dedicated to raising the profile and standards of design technology in schools. We understand that teachers simply don't have enough time to prepare the high quality resources needed to teach an outstanding lesson. We do the hard work for you so you can focus on the teaching.

The DT Project offers entire design technology projects:

And anything else you might need to teach the project to your students. All our materials are differentiated and allow you to easily adapt the lesson for the weakest to the strongest of students.

We want to give back to the community so will also be funding an upcoming forum which will allow DT teachers to share tips, problems and discuss issues which are relevant to them. Furthermore we hope teachers will use it to share best practice as well as resources with each other.

Here at The DT Project we understand that you didn't start teaching because you love the planning! And we realise that coming up with projects which relate to GCSE criteria can be difficult, let alone coming up with interesting and imaginative ways to teach each week! We have designed a range of projects which save you both time and money so you can focus solely on your pupils.

Whether you are looking for a way to spice up your food tech lessons, or trying to put a spark back into an electronics project, we have projects and resources to suit your needs. We cater for different budgets, ages, abilities and environments.

Step 2: Let Us Know

What are you after? Do you have the materials but need a vibrant new scheme of work, or are you looking for the whole package? When you order we can provide you with as much, or as little as you need.

Step 3: Teach

You recieve the contents and get going. Packs of materials for students are bagged up, your lesson plans printed, and exemplars ready to go. We also provide digital downloads if you are in a hurry and don't need the materials.
